The Wonderful Oases to Explore in Yellowstone
Yellowstone National Park is a true natural spectacle: a vast area of about 9,000 square kilometers that includes forests, lakes, waterfalls, and canyons. It’s a place where you can immerse yourself to discover countless beauties, and since 1978 it has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you decide to visit the area known as Midway Geyser Basin, you can witness a color display that is unique in the world.
In addition to the Grand Prismatic Spring, spectacular to admire from above with its rainbow colors, there are three other smaller but equally incredible springs.
These three natural wonders—the Turquoise Pool, the Opal Pool, and the Excelsior Geyser Crater—are all located in the same area and can be visited together, offering an immersive experience in the marvel of admiring such vivid and varied colors.
The Turquoise Pool, like the other springs, has extremely hot water, with temperatures ranging between 61 and 71 degrees Celsius. The Opal Pool, on the other hand, stays around 51 degrees Celsius, while the Excelsior Geyser Pool also has very high-temperature water.
The overall view is truly breathtaking: among the clouds rising from the water, you can admire countless shades of blue, from turquoise to azure, filling your eyes with wonder.
