Visiting Castelvecchio is an authentic journey back in time, among squares, alleys, brick and stone houses and panoramic views worthy of a work of art. The first stop on the tour can be the Church of Our Lady Assumed, built in the 15th century and later restored. Among the religious buildings, you must not miss the Oratory of Santa Maria Maddalena, dating back to the late Middle Ages and featuring a Baroque-style bell tower. Inside, you can admire some paintings created by local painters.
However, the main attraction of the town is the Castle of the Clavesana Marquises, built during the 11th century. From here you can enjoy a truly unique and evocative view over the entire valley around the village and visit its interior, perfectly preserved after several restoration works.
