The House Museum is dedicated to his childhood, hosting the cradle of young Manzoni, some portraits, and a wonderful silver sunburst.
Crossing the Noble Courtyard you reach the Chapel of the Assumption, known for being the private chapel of the Manzoni family. It is decorated with several works such as The Madonna of the Assumption by Carlo Preda, an elegant altarpiece in the Lombard barocchetto style. Not only beauty but also music: the chapel visit is accompanied by the Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi, composed precisely in honor of the writer friend.
