This is the story of our ambassador Cinzia!
Since we began telling Meeters stories, we realized many share common traits. They are often people at a particular moment in their lives when they feel the need for change, to take back control of their lives, try new experiences, feel emotions, and meet new people. We've seen this with Elisabetta, Antonio, Sandra and Marcellina and we'll see it again today, many completely different from me, others with shared interests with whom an immediate connection was made. Some of them have become so important in my life that we keep in touch and meet beyond the community.”
Cinzia joined the community with contagious energy and enthusiasm. She didn’t just participate in countless events (she’s now at 122), but also aimed to help others by sharing her knowledge and skills. As a counselor, she created a free online workshop for the Community called “The Meeters’ Lounge” which, by addressing even weighty topics, fostered real bonds that in some cases turned into genuine friendships.
But that’s not all. By doing so, she quickly moved from being a simple community member to becoming an Ambassador— a role Cinzia embraces as a mission!
“From my very first outing as a member, I asked the Ambassador on duty a thousand questions because, understanding the value of this startup, I also sensed the importance of this role and the responsibility (meaning doing your part) it entailed. I didn’t have to accept this role, but I explicitly requested it: when you see the beauty, goodness, and social usefulness, you can’t ignore the call.”
And this is also why Cinzia recommends it to everyone.
