Right after Valentine's Day, the famous lovers' holiday, the lesser-known Saint Faustino is celebrated. February 15 in Italy is known as Singles' Day, the day for singles.
The day shifts from the wild romance of the 14th, filled with chocolate, flowers, and intimate dinners, to the next day, when any reference to love is banned.

Between History and Legend: Who Was Saint Faustino?
Saint Faustino, celebrated on February 15, was a young man from Brescia belonging to a noble pagan family in the 2nd century AD. He began a military career and became a knight. He was drawn to Christianity after meeting Saint Apollonius, the bishop of Brescia, and converted.
He was a highly admired preacher in the Brescia area but faced persecution from other nobles and the ruler because he refused to make sacrifices to the gods. The emperor's fury was so great that he decided to throw Saint Faustino to the beasts, but as soon as the saint by candlelight to the loving couples and we think about how singles can spend their day doing interesting activities.
