Who is Stecca? The story of one of Meeters’ most loyal ambassadors
Imagine a 15-year-old skinny boy (hence the nickname #stecchino), who loves riding his Vespa around (in his area they said “going to #stecca”) and skipping school to play billiards (#stecca). For all these reasons, he is Stecca.
As he grew up, Stecca turned his childhood hobby—riding his Vespa—into a true passion for motorcycling, off-roading, and discovering new places.
“Improvise, adapt to reach the goal”:
This became Stecca’s motto after an unfortunate twist of fate: a serious accident that prevented him from using his motorcycle and off-road vehicle. At that point, Stecca was forced to find an alternative way to travel and keep exploring.
Why does he (still) follow us in a camper?
To travel all over Italy, Stecca chose to buy a camper: it was love at first sight! This purchase changed Stecca’s life back then, allowing him to see places he never dreamed of reaching.
His camper isn’t just any camper; it’s a Brazilian camperinho , not because it comes from Brazil, but because of its spirit.When he was young, Stecca lived in Brazil for 3 years and learned an important lesson: live with little and be happy. Traveling by camper means being at home anywhere; in fact, Stecca calls it a “

Meeters ad on Facebook He was very curious and intimidated at the same time; in fact, before diving into this new adventure, he waited a month..
He recalls his first outing like this:
It all started from that.
“I set off on my first Meeters outing to Cala Violina, which is a 4-hour drive from my home. It was a truly beautiful hike; we swam at sunset and returned to the cars at nightfall. Unforgettable. And that’s when my Meeters era began. For Stecca, joining an outing means heading out for a
weekend”

Their role is essential as they help participants break the ice, create a welcoming group spirit, keep the group together during outings, ensuring no one is left behind, thus making the guides’ job easier. I like feeling good and I also like making others feel good, something I learned thanks to my job as a waiter when I was young. During the hike, the ambassador stays at the back to help and not leave anyone alone, while during the third half he interacts with the whole group. “The famous Third Half is the cherry on top, a moment of sharing where we relive the emotions we experienced together, chatting over a drink with those who have become new.
