How a Successful Team Is Born
But back in 2017, when Meeters was born as an informal group (later becoming an association) from an idea by Davide Zanon, it was little more than a simple desire, a challenge: to organize group meetups through social media with the aim of visiting and photographing Italy’s most beautiful places.
The formula was successful from the start: the demand for services connecting people looking for friends to share passions and experiences was clearly higher than the supply!
Indeed, in just a few informal meetings, the number of participants grew to hundreds and the project gradually expanded.
Alongside its founder, Claudio Perlini soon joined as a partner of Zanon, followed by investor Francesco Nazari Fusetti, founder of successful projects like ScuolaZoo. Today, Meeters also offers cooking experiences, such as learning to make traditional pizzoccheri from scratch! One of the hallmarks of Meeters trips is engaging experiences like workshops where you always learn something new to fully immerse yourself in local culture.
