If there’s one thing we generally don’t think will trouble those who live here, it’s finding something to do to pass the time.
By in Milan with company there are really plenty of options since the Lombardy capital is a city full of things to do, both from a purely cultural perspective and a more practical one.

Nightlife in Milan is lively, concerts are plentiful, as are events and opportunities to let social life shine and flourish.
Today’s experience.

Free Entry to a Museum

If you’re in Milan on the first Sunday of the month, you can take advantage of a very popular initiative: free museums. This initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage

and offers free entry to all civic museums every first Sunday of the month. The list of Milan venues participating in this initiative is quite extensive: the Museum of the Twentieth Century, the Brera Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art are perfect examples. If you have children with you or feel like a child at heart, why not take advantage of the Civic Museum of Natural History or theCivic Aquarium?

Among the museums participating in this initiative but requiring reservation rather than free entry are the Gallerie d’Italia and the Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, the latter able to amaze those not deeply familiar with the master’s work.

Some of these museums are also accessible for free on the first and third Tuesday of the month, only in the afternoon from 2 p.m. onwards.

Joining the Free Evenings at Milanese Venues
