Beyond the usual Versilia, beyond the usual Salento, beyond the usual Rimini beaches, there are many other places where the sea deserves attention and love. There are the Apulian coasts, the Molise coasts, the Abruzzo coasts, but above all, there is the Conero Riviera, the maritime pearl of the Marche region. Many wonder which are the most beautiful beaches of the Conero Riviera and here we are with an article created specifically for this purpose.

Mezzavalle Beach
Let's start right away with one of the easiest beaches to reach. Mezzavalle Beach is a free beach located just outside the city of Ancona, along the road that leads from the capital to the summit of Monte Conero.
This beach is very spacious, pebbly, but characterized by very clear blue water. Reaching the beach is quite simple: just get to the Portonovo roundabout!
Just before the roundabout, you can find the path that descends toward the sea; we recommend trekking shoes with a rugged sole to avoid nasty slips!
Passetto Caves
The Passetto Caves beach is located just a few hundred meters from the city center streets. We are talking about one of the most characteristic places of the entire Riviera: a high rocky coast with many small caves carved into the rock.

These places were once used by fishermen as shelters for their boats, while today, as of September 30, daily tickets cost 2€.
The Black Stones Beach is instead a free beach located just north of San Michele Beach. It is an even wilder beach, called “Black Stones” because of the stones on the seabed that slightly darken the water's color.
Urbani Beach
Another famous beach in Sirolo is Urbani Beach, located at the foot of the village. This beach is situated within the Conero Park and is bordered by a natural cave on one of its two sides.
It is a beach of gravel and sand, populated by beach resorts with short stretches of free beach. To reach it, it is recommended to use the shuttle that passes through Sirolo's historic center, thus avoiding a hike that might not be suitable for children.
Frate Beach
At the foot of Numana, just south of Sirolo, you can reach Frate Beach. In this case, we are talking about a beach with very white sand, nestled between the green Mediterranean scrub and the white rock of the promontory.
Perfect for those who want to snorkel or who love to explore wild coves, this beach is one of the least talked about among the Conero beaches.
Numana Alta Beach
Also located near high promontories, Numana Alta Beach is nestled between the white rock of the last fragments of Monte Conero and the sparkling green Mediterranean scrub that populates its slopes.
The beach can be easily reached from the center of Numana or from the tourist harbor and is suitable for everyone; it is an equipped beach with resorts, so there is no need to bring your own umbrella!
