More Information About the Sarvanot Trail
It is a loop trail about 5 km long, impossible to get lost because you can start at one point and return exactly where you began. Along the path, fifty signs will tell you the story of the forest, who lived there, and information about the trees.
While walking through the forest, you will reach the Sardoulin area; a spot on the trail where you can take a break and enjoy views of the village and surrounding landscape.
From this point, continuing along the Sarvanot Trail, begins the Vio dei Mort which, besides leading you back toward the village, will bring you face to face with a contemporary art installation, a “Land Art” piece called the “Path of Circles,” created by the “Anelli di Crescita” Association.
Peace, well-being, and relaxation are the keys to an unforgettable day in contact with nature. The highlight of the forest, beyond the signs and illustrations, is the presence of an educational classroom. Here there are no desks or blackboards, but carved tree trunks and a wooden panel where children's drawings and paintings hang.
Drawings also hang from the trees depicting small butterflies, flowers, insects, and birds; hidden among the vegetation, you can even find an Indian teepee.
