Sometimes nature is kind and places breathtakingly beautiful spots close together. This is definitely the case of the Varone Waterfall, one or more waterfalls located just a short distance from Riva del Garda.
Several notable figures have visited and appreciated this magical place. In this case, we speak of poets such as Gabriele D’Annunzio and Thomas Mann, writers like Franz Kafka, or even nobles such as Prince Umberto I of Savoy andEmperor Joseph I of Habsburg. From Riva del Garda, simply take the SS421 towards Ponte Arche to find on the left the Varone Waterfall Cave Park, at the Varone locality.
Where to Park to Visit the Varone Waterfalls?
Also in this case, unlike many other places, the Varone Waterfall Park has plenty of free parking spaces available. The closest is the park’s private parking lot which, as a condition, allows a maximum stay of two hours. It’s a two-minute walk from the parking lot to the park entrance.
How Much Is the Ticket for the Varone Waterfall?
The Varone Waterfall Park is open all year except December 25th; we recommend visiting in summer to enjoy some refreshing coolness.

Ticket prices are as follows:
- Individual: 6 €
- Families: €22 (2 adults and 2 children), €26 (2 adults and 3 children)
- Groups: 4.50 € (minimum for 20 people)
- School Groups: €3 per student (a document certifying school affiliation is required)
