One of the things to see in Ljubljana is the castle that rises on Grajska Planota hill, which in 1335 became property of the Habsburgs who fortified it following continuous Turkish invasions. Originally it was all wooden and housed the prince and governor of the city, Spanheim. Only when it became the property of Emperor Frederick III did the castle take on the appearance it has today, for every time you feel the need to break the routine and give yourself the chance to make new friends and share extraordinary travel experiences.
