They enliven outings, facilitate interactions, inspire new members to naturally integrate into the group: who are the Meeters Ambassadors?
We like to think of them as “Super Meeters”: they have taken part in many activities, embrace our values, and help the community in various ways on a voluntary basis. Their main task is to break the ice, but not only that: Ambassadors are like guardian angels who accompany the activity, welcoming all participants. They lend a hand when needed and are the lively souls of our Third Half, the most authentic and special moment of every Meeters event: the time when people chat, relax, and make friends. Let’s get to know this fundamental figure better!

Who Is the Meeters Ambassador?
Imagine the classic lively element of every group: the one who creates team spirit and on whom everyone can rely to keep the event running smoothly. That’s a bit what the Ambassador is for Meeters: no longer just a member, but a selected Meeter who, after participating in many day activities, trips, or excursions, has received this recognition.
Like a badge proudly pinned to the lapel, the Ambassador likes to be recognized.
Indeed, completely free and voluntarily, Ambassadors help facilitate the work of the Meeters guides, creating a lighthearted and carefree atmosphere or keeping the group together during trips. Why do we affectionately call them “guardian angels”? Because the Ambassador takes care of us and the participants: making sure no one is left behind.
One of Meeters’ core values is hospitality and team spirit. These key figures help participants break the ice within the group. The main trait of a true Ambassador is friendliness: do you remember, as a kid, that classmate who made everyone laugh on trips, sang songs on the bus, creating fun and joy? Or that teammate who gathered the whole team in the locker room and on the field with laughter, jokes, and encouraging words? For us, it’s important to bring that same spirit and attitude into adulthood.
The Ambassador knows and shares our values. Not only that: they want to help us convey our message to all participants. The Ambassador is and remains a point of reference for all participants before, during, and after the outing. Because they know how to have fun and make others have fun.
We’ve already told you about Stecca, who is a perfect example: the Ambassador who “chases” Meeters aboard his legendary camperinho, the Brazilian camper that is a true adventure companion. Stecca is the classic character who never gives up in the face of obstacles and turns life’s difficulties into opportunities for rebirth and growth. Could we not have him in our extended family?
It’s people like him, among the most active Ambassadors ever, who make Meeters a special place, an exceptional community that puts people at the center.

What Does the Ambassador Do?
During outings, Ambassadors make themselves available to the guide, helping concretely to manage the group. They act as the “sweeper” (remember? No one should be left behind!) and promptly report any issues, collaborating to resolve them quickly.
Another important task of the Ambassador is to enforce the event’s start and end times, of course together with the guide., obviously together with the guide.
At the beginning of the event, the Ambassador introduces themselves to the group, explaining their role, and invites everyone to break the ice.
This is a real moment of animation, where, besides the usual questions to get to know each other better (“Where are you from?” “How old are you?” “Is this your first experience with Meeters?” “Who has already been to this place?”), they involve Meeters in the so-called “ball game” (want to find out what it is? Join an experience with us!), or a simple round of names. It’s just one way to introduce yourself and start making new friends. A ritual that defines us and creates a feeling of home.
In short, it’s essential to achieve one of the main goals of every Meeters activity: meeting new people and becoming friends. Obviously, their skill also lies in making everything flow extremely naturally, without giving the impression of forcing anything, but letting everyone express themselves naturally.
The Ambassador helps create a safespace, a safe moment for everyone present, which is very important, indeed fundamental, to us.
Moreover, they are the social soul of the event! They take photos more than an influencer, shoot videos, wear our t-shirt or sweatshirt, and carry the legendary Meeters banner!
The Ambassador is also present during events like dinners and aperitifs, contributing to the success of the evening.
At these events, the Ambassador becomes the main point of reference, the glue between Meeters & the Meeters participants, the key element to give a friendly face to our startup.
They arrive a bit early and position themselves in a visible spot, like the entrance of the venue, so all participants can easily find them. They then stay there for the next fifteen minutes, assisting latecomers or anyone having trouble finding the group.
They welcome all new arrivals, indicate where the group is, and mark everyone’s presence on the participant list.
Once these fundamental tasks are done, the Ambassador relaxes: and that’s when the party starts! They make sure no one is excluded and that everyone has fun. And they do it gladly, because they believe in the initiative and feel the importance of their role.

What Are the Benefits for the Ambassador?
For Meeters Ambassadors, outings are free: when they apply, they can participate free of charge, as they provide significant help. They also have access to the official chat with all other Ambassadors and are obviously in direct contact with the Meeters team.
Being in direct line with us, they are the first to know about our news, previews, and developments in the Meeters world.
There are also exclusive events for Ambassadors only: a special group of friends, who collaborate to improve activities, meet, have fun, while taking their role seriously.
Becoming a Meeters Ambassador is an exclusive opportunity to forge new friendships in a special way: living unique experiences and discovering incredible places, with a leading role.
